Join us for a panel discussion with experts from the NY State Department of Health and The Center for Optimal Living on the topic of working with individuals who misuse opioids and learn harm reduction strategies for overdose prevention.

There will be an update on recent trends in opioid use in NYC, along with a discussion of an integrative harm reduction approach to address opioid misuse and strategies for preventing overdose.  This event is designed for graduate students and other professionals working in the mental health and substance abuse treatment community who wish to educate themselves about opioid use and effective strategies to reduce risk among individuals using opioids.
